Assessing a multi-device reinforcement feature on Whatsapp has formally affirmed by WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Discussing about this new technique, Zuckerberg had said, “It’s been a big technical challenge to get all your messages and content to sync properly across devices even when your phone battery dies, but we’ve solved this and we’re looking forward to getting it out soon!”
Formally the social media has declared the trot out of multi device aid for beta testers on whatsapp.
In consonance with the company, the device which is upgraded with this new feature has the potential to permits you to use WhatsApp on your phone and such as other non-phone devices without your phone connection.
“Each companion device will connect to your WhatsApp independently while maintaining the same level of privacy and security through end-to-end encryption that people who use WhatsApp have come to expect,” the Facebook Engineering team wrote in a blog post .
To manage end to end encryption and also to sync the datas we have flourished new innovations like contact names, chat archives, starred messages, and so on beyond the devices.
To put forward this proposal, the company had to “rethink WhatsApp’s architecture and design” new device to accredit a detached multi-device experience while safeguarding the privacy and end-to-end encryption.
Presently WhatsApp experience for associate devices on the web, macOS, Windows, need a mobile application as the predominant device, which makes the mobile as a the fount of gospel for all user data and the only device effective for end-to-end encryption etc.
Now the new WhatsApp feature is accessible only to a minimal users under the beta program.
The company has not made any announcement when the multi-device support feature will be rolled out to the public. “We will continue optimizing performance and adding a few additional features before slowly rolling it out more broadly,” the post concluded.
