Pegasus Spyware : Is Android Devices More Secure Than iPhones??

Pegasus is a spyware which observes people and government authorities are make use of it. It is generated by Israel-based NSO Group Technologies. These are exactly as Watergate incident which happens on 1972.

Android devices are not dauntless to Pegasus. However security analysts  at Amnesty research utters that out of 34 tested 24 iPhones were infected, and 11 indicates symptoms of infection. Contrastingly among 15 android devices scarcely 3 of them indicates that somebody “tried” to hack.

In an interview with Google’s spokeswoman Kaylin Trychon, she said this.

“Google has a threat analysis team that tracks NSO Group and other threat actors and that the company sent more than 4,000 warnings to users each month of attempted infiltrations by attackers, including government-backed ones.”

It seems that the Pegasus spyware is aiming iPhones. This is especially due to the users who have iPhones are commonly highly influential persons so there will numerous obscurity to expose at the occasion.

The number of infected Android devices is slighter because Android’s logs are not immense. The tenacious logs would be more effective for forensic uses.

“Attacks like the ones described are highly sophisticated, cost millions of dollars to develop, often have a short shelf life, and are used to target specific individuals. While that means they are not a threat to the overwhelming majority of our users, we continue to work tirelessly to defend all our customers, and we are constantly adding new protections for their devices and data.” Statement by Ivan Krstić, head of Apple Security Engineering and Architecture
