Asus Chromebook is erected to provide creative and motivating learning experience. Now a days we have lots of apps to play with high speed, systematic processors to run, and also touch friendly UI. Asus Chromebook is a laptop which works on Chrome OS. It is an OS like Windows, Mac.
The Asus Chromebook Flip C214 is mechanized by an Intel Celeron N4020 chip with 4GB RAM. This is definitely not sufficient for the austerity and lucidity of Google’s Chrome OS. It is powered with 11.6 HD inch display plus flip screen.
The Chromebook has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which comes with 64 GB internal storage and can be expand using a micro SD card. It is featured with 5 Gbps USB-C ports that hold up for charging and DisplayPort, a USB-A port, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, and among the two USB-C ports, one is full-size USB port and the other is for 3.5mm headphone jack.
Asus Chromebook Flip C214 has two cameras. One is a front camera which is used for video calls and the other one is attached on the keyboard deck. It is fixed on the keyboard for when you upturn the display, it will be equivalent to something on your phone. “This might come in handy for students who might use augmented reality (AR) tools.“
The design of Asus Chrome book is like a 3D-textured with matte finished lid so it is entirely resistant to scratches. The battery capacity of this chromebook is rated at 11 hrs and the keys of keyboard is craggy, adhesive and are nice enough to type on.
Overall, the C214 is a decent device and it seems like a great option for young students and for school use. But then there’s the price, and ChromeOS’ limitations as a learning platform.
